With several grade II listed buildings on the site, the majority of which is a scheduled ancient monument and also a conservation area, this last vestige of the salt making industry in the Northwich area is set to become an important new visitor attraction. Careful integration of displays into – and around – the restored buildings and site will provide an engaging experience for visitors.
